Cherry Almond Smoothie

Did you know April is National Soy Foods month? With the help of nutrition-based Chef Jill Hillier, we’re showcasing how you can use silken tofu made from soybeans in a nutritious and protein-filled option smoothie. Delicious!

Ingredients 

  • 227g silken tofu, drained 
  • 1 cup frozen cherries 
  • ½ frozen banana 
  • ¾ cup milk of choice 
  • 1 tbsp almond butter 
  • ¼ tsp almond extract 

Directions:

  • Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. 
  • Pour into a glass, and enjoy!
