Whole wheat waffles
Create homemade Whole wheat waffles and top with whip cream and fresh fruit for a healthy balanced meal!

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup of wheat bran
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 ½ cups warm milk
- ⅓ cup butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions
- Preheat waffle iron
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar with a whisk. Stir in the milk, butter and vanilla.
- Add flour, wheat bran, salt and baking powder. Mix well until no lumps.
- Spray waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray.
- Ladle the batter into a preheated waffle iron and cook until golden and crispy. Serve immediately with fresh fruits, syrup or nut butter!
