Chris Soules at Twenty View Farms

Media Tour with Iowa Grain Farmer Chris Soules, Star of The Bachelor

Iowa grain farmer Chris Soules, best known as The Bachelor on season 19 of the popular ABC show, visited Ontario Wednesday and Thursday. On Wednesday, he visited Twenty View Farms in Smithville, where met with farmer Daryl Haanstra and his family; together, they checked out the soybeans and corn, and talked about the similarities between agriculture in Ontario and Soules’ home town of Arlington, Iowa. While on the farm, Soules took part in interviews for Grain Farmers of Ontario, as well as Hello! and ETalk Daily.

On Thursday, Soules had a full day of media appearances: he was on CP24 Breakfast, Breakfast Television Toronto, Global Morning, Newstalk 1010, What She Said on Sirius XM, Global Noon, The Social, and ET Canada. Soules talked about working with Grain Farmers of Ontario and the Good in Every Grain campaign, and he mentioned www.goodineverygrain.ca. Some of the common topics that he discussed was life on the farm, life after The Bachelor, and how farmers work really hard every day to provide safe and sustainable food, do a great job and are extremely humble about what they do.
