Abbie Brander, 52 weeks of #YOURFARMERS

        I enjoy being self-employed and facing the challenges of farming. It’s rewarding to watch the crops grow and to harvest the finished product.

Abbie is a fourth generation farmer who grows corn, soybeans, wheat, and hay in Caledon, ON. She really enjoys farming as she can be her own boss and she enjoys navigating the challenges that comes along with farming. Every day, Abbie works hard on her farm: she believes it’s important to be a steward of her land while she produces safe food to feed a growing population. Abbie also enjoys showing the public what she does on her farm, and she believes it’s good for the public to see how their food is produced.

“It’s very rewarding to watch your crops grow and to harvest the finished product.” Abbie says “It’s exciting to grow the best crops you can.”
