There's Good in Every Grain
“After school I knew I wanted to use this passion and spread the message about food choices. I took on the role of Grain Discovery Zone Ambassador and spent the summer travelling around Ontario with Grain Farmers of Ontario’s interactive trailer, the Grain Discovery Zone”.
It was another successful year on the road for the Grain Discovery Zone. We went to over 25 different events, reaching all different demographics. This year was special as we attended about 6 new locations! There was a lot of interest in Ontario grains at all the venues we attended.
Do you live close to Schomberg, Ontario?
If so, make sure to come and visit the Grain Discovery Zone this coming weekend at the Schomberg Fair! The trailer will be on site from Friday May 29 to Sunday May 31. There is lots to do when visiting; kids can play in the corn box as well as test their trivia knowledge on an interactive game. There is also a chance to learn about soils and all of the hard work it takes to grow crops like a farmer.
